Whether you got engaged today, yesterday, weeks or even years ago, the lead up to your big day is exciting (albeit a little overwhelming) … enjoy the ride, because it all goes by so quickly.
Let’s not beat around the bush – like photographers, there are a bazillion celebrants out there, so the key is to find someone you feel really comfortable with.

A little about me
As a marriage celebrant, I love getting to know my couples, hearing their stories and working with them to create something really memorable and meaningful.
I pride myself on creating ceremonies that are warm, heartfelt and highly personalised – ceremonies that absolutely reflect each couple and their love for one another.
In my opinion, there is nothing more boring than a 40 minute ceremony taken straight from a book. I want your ceremony to be all about the two of you… and for your guests to comment for years to come on how fabulous it was.
With four sons, I find the ‘mum’ in me also kicks in with my couples – I work hard to take any worry out of your ceremony planning, with a focus on ensuring the day is calm and enjoyable for both you and your guests.
I'm all about making sure you are both relaxed, smiling and loving every minute of your wedding day.
My boys and I live in gorgeous Montrose, base of the Dandenongs and gateway to the Yarra Valley - not a bad place for a celebrant to live! In saying this, I perform ceremonies all over Melbourne and can easily have my arm twisted for other exciting locations...

If you are interested in working together, please contact me to arrange a time to catch up. We'll chat casually over a cuppa or cheeky wine (completely obligation free) and just get to know each other.
I really believe it's important you connect with your celebrant and feel confident they can run your ceremony in the way you envisage. I will also use this opportunity to guide you through the legal process necessary to marry under current Australian legislation. Most couples are surprised at how flexible the ceremony format can be.
After our catch up, if you then choose to book me (wahoo!), I will provide you with:

A welcome package of ceremony ideas, including potential vows and readings, all hand chosen by me.

Unlimited phone and email chats and three face-to-face meetings and a final rehearsal (if you’d like one – I recommend it).

Unlimited drafts of your ceremony until you're 100% happy with it and feel it perfectly reflects you as a couple and the wedding you’ve planned.

Complete management of all the legal requirements of your marriage.

My personal promise to be professional, on time, fun and easy to work with!
As you may have already found, celebrants can charge between $700-$2000 – whatever decision you make, remember that a great celebrant should really earn their fee, making you feel completely confident in the lead up and of course on the big day.
People often think a celebrant’s work is just the ceremony itself... but that’s just the fun part!
My fee of $1200 includes everything from looking after the legal responsibility of your wedding, to planning, designing and performing your ceremony, to use of my PA system. Please note that for weddings more than 50km away from my home, I do charge an additional fee for time and travel.
